EvadX have fabricated and erected the steelwork on The Fact Centre for Mowlem plc. Located in the heart of Liverpool City Centre, The Fact Centre contains three cinema screens, two large gallery spaces, a bar and offices. The first three floors comprise of a concrete structure and the 4th and 5th floors and roof are steel. The steel supports the cinema floors which are suspended over the two large gallery spaces. Supporting these large loads, suspending the concrete flooring, are joints with up to 80 no. M24 bolts in one connection.

The external focal point of the building is a curved glass façade which at night, when lit up, shows off the large staircase. The spine beam for this staircase, which was detailed by acecad and induction rolled by The Angle Ring Co. Ltd, weighs over 6 tonnes with a total weight, including the treads, handrails and beam, of over 8 tonnes.

The building consists of approximately 197 tonnes of structural steelwork.
