SNOWDON SUMMIT

Evadx are proud to have been chosen as the Main Steel Contractor for the New Summit Building on Snowdon.

The visitors centre will provide opportunities to learn more about Snowdon.  It will provide weather information, advice on descent routes , washrooms and toilets as well as proving refreshments and shelter.

Off-site construction at the Corus site at Deeside has already begun.  It will then be taken apart and transported section by section up 3,560ft by the mountain railway to the summit.

Our erection team will be erecting steel at the highest point in England and Wales which attracts 100mph winds and temperatures of minus 20C.

For more information please contact Andrew Roberts, our Drawing Office Manager, who has been working closely with the Engineer, Architect and Main Contractor, Carillion.

The mountain webcam will chart the progress from start to finish.
