Asahi Glass Company's principal business interests are glass and chemical products and AGC is one of the world's leading producers of fluorochemicals and fluoropolymer materials. Evadx were appointed the main steelwork contractor to supply and erect all the structural steelwork at their the headquarters in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire.

The project comprised of 2 main manufacturing plants which included warehousing, pipe wracks, demin tower, solvent receivers structure, boiler house and electrical building.

The structure is mainly made up of beam and column with open mesh/ durbar plate flooring, staircase, landings and platforms.

The total weight of this project is approximately 500t and the structure is 25m high.
